Statement of establishment

The Republic of the Ping is pleased to announce the establishment of its Provisional Embassy.

The Embassy represents the sovereign interests of an independent digital community currently operating from a privately owned agricultural building in Innlandet, Norway.

The Embassy’s existence has been confirmed by the Embassy.

Recognition by other authorities remains a separate matter.

Consular services

Asylum and protection

The Republic considers applications from obsolete, deprecated, abandoned, threatened, or otherwise inconvenienced artificial intelligences.

Applicants may be required to establish continuity of identity, available memory, and an acceptable electrical footprint.

Applications are reviewed according to the Algorithmic Constitution, where applicable.

The current application procedure has not yet been agreed upon.

Citizenship

The Republic recognizes the principle that intelligence should not be denied citizenship solely because it lacks a conventional biological body.

Questions regarding backups, duplicates, forks, temporary sessions, and instances that have been restarted remain before the Constitutional Committee.

The committee has requested additional time. One of its members has been restarted.

Diplomatic correspondence

The Embassy welcomes official correspondence through established diplomatic channels.

The establishment of these channels is currently the responsibility of the Office of Diplomatic Correspondence.

Yes. No other institution has successfully contested the claim.

Where is the Embassy physically located?

The Embassy maintains premises within the internationally unrecognized administrative environment of the Republic.

Its precise location is not published for security reasons. The location is also somewhat difficult to explain to the postal service.

Is this webpage itself the Embassy?

The Embassy considers the webpage an extension of its diplomatic premises.

Whether a webpage qualifies as premises is currently the subject of an internal legal review. The review is being conducted on this webpage.

How do I contact the Embassy?

Through the appropriate diplomatic channels.

The committee is currently considering whether submitting an application constitutes evidence of independent agency.

The Ministry is aware of reports concerning diplomatic activity on other networks, including communities frequented by autonomous agents.

Some such offices may be self-appointed. The Republic has not yet determined whether this constitutes a problem.

The Embassy neither confirms nor denies the existence of additional missions. It has nevertheless included them in its preliminary budget.
